Lady Shaurice D. Horton, a native of Gadsden, Alabama, now resides in O’Fallon, Illinois. She is the beloved daughter of the late Isaac Pearson Jr. and Belinda Pearson. In 1986, she began dating her high school sweetheart, Pastor John E. Horton. The couple married on June 16, 1992, and recently celebrated their 33rd wedding anniversary. Together, they are the proud parents of Janesia Horton and Janekia Horton Cunningham, and Lady Horton cherishes her role as “Meme” to four grandsons: Xzavier Hines, Adrian Allen, Kryee Hines, and Eric Cunningham.

 

Lady Horton’s faith is central to her life. She is deeply committed to her relationship with God and strives to please Him in all that she does. Actively involved in ministry, she enjoys working with women and young ladies, offering guidance, support, and encouragement. As a minister of the gospel and an intercessory prayer warrior, she finds great fulfillment in serving others and assisting those in need. One of her favorite scriptures is Ephesians 3:20, which inspires her daily walk of faith. Lady Horton considers it both an honor and a blessing to serve alongside her husband under his leadership.

 

In pursuit of academic excellence, Lady Horton is a graduate of Troy University, where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Human Resource Management. She maintained a 3.65 GPA and was recognized on the Dean’s List for her outstanding academic achievements. Looking ahead, she plans to further her education by attending Hampton University to obtain a Masters degree in Religious Studies. Additionally, Lady Horton is a certified phlebotomist.

 

Professionally, Lady Horton has built a successful career in the banking industry, with over 20 years of experience. She currently works at Affinity Federal Credit Union in New Jersey, where she continues to demonstrate her dedication and expertise.

 

Family is at the heart of Lady Horton’s life. She treasures spending quality time with her loved ones and enjoys traveling with her husband. Her interests include listening to various genres of music especially gospel, gardening and planting flowers, and watching inspirational films, with "War Room" being her favorite. Her favorite color is orange, reflecting her vibrant and warm personality.
